Author Palooza Event – 10/14

August 28, 2023 By Library Staff

Save the date for the Fall Author Palooza Event on October 14 from 10 am to 2 pm. It will be held at the Trolley Station Event Center across the street from the library at 310 Cornell Street in Middleton.

Over 30 local Treasure Valley authors will attend the event. Latte’ Da coffee and beverage truck will there as well as Pepe’s Famous Sauce food truck will be serving up some excellent food (with their famous sauce of course).

A “scavenger” type hunt for authors will take place and once you have your booklet completed you’ll be entered into a raffle for books!

Kids are welcome and will be able to make buttons, create their own bookmark and can also paint rocks.

All genres of books will be represented by local authors — romance, adventure, children, thriller, mystery and MORE!

One of the featured authors who will be attending is Arnold Ytreeide, author of Jotham’s Journey.  Jotham’s Journey is a series of four adventure books for families to read together during the four weeks before Christmas. Most families read one each year, then repeat — by the time they read a book the second or third time, the children are four years older and it’s a completely new story to them. He has also written the Mike Danford Adventure Series, Christian adventure books for kids, tweens and teens.

Here is the current list of all the authors who will be attending:

Amy Maren Rice Mid-level Fantasy
Angela Taylor Contemporary Romance
Arnold Ytreeide Christian Fiction Children’s Books (Jotham’s Journey, Amon’s Adventure and more)
Carla Osborne Children’s farm books (Gona’s Reading Ranch)
