Libby App Information

March 10, 2026 By Library Staff

Libby is the free app you can download on to your phone or tablet to read and listen to audio books. Following is a PDF document with the instructions on how to download Libby and most important, how to add all the Middleton Public Library partner libraries. Only libraries on the attached list may be added to your Middleton card.

**Please remember when downloading Libby and it clearly asks for your full phone number, to ONLY put the last four digits of your number in that field.** (We’re sorry it isn’t formatted to state to only place your last four numbers, but we’re unable to change it at this time.)

Please click on the following link to print the handout. Once it opens you may need to click on the graphic again to be able to see the full size document and then print it. It will look best when printing to click on FIT and “print on the short edge” in your printer’s print settings.  Here is the link:  Libby Handout 08.25.25

If you already have Libby loaded on your device and just need to know the names of the partner libraries and how to add them, following is a shorter PDF document with just that information. Once you click on it and it opens you may need to click on the graphic again to be able to see the full size document and then print it. :  11-21-25 How-to-Add-a-Library-to-Libby

In addition to books and audiobooks, check out the many magazines you can also check out on Libby.
