The adult gardening classes held here at the library are sponsored by the University of Idaho Canyon County extension or the Owyhee County Extension and are taught by Advanced Master Gardeners Kathy Harris, Suzanne Ubry, Lana Moad, Ruth Givens and other Master Gardeners. Scroll down to see the information about the upcoming classes. Please pre-register for classes, so there are enough seats and materials available. (Some classes may have smaller attendance limits depending on the topic and if they are held in the library and not at the Trolley Station.) The classes are very popular and there is limited space in the library. The classes are usually held the fourth Tuesday of the month from 5:30 to 7 pm.
The next class will be held on October 27 and attendees will be able to create their own herb and spice blends, and then take them home. (The holidays are coming, so these would also make excellent gifts.) This class will be held in the library and is sponsored by the Owyhee County extension of the University of Idaho. There will be a materials fee of $15 per person.
